Description

Theory examination (oral):
All chapters of Al-Muneer Tajweed Syllabus 2021 (P.1-356):
1. All chapters of the Tamheediyyah syllabus.
2. All chapters of the Mutawassitah syllabus.
3. Al-Waqf and Al-Ibtidaa’ (all sections of the chapter including Awjuh Al-Waqf,
Al-Maqtoo’ & Al-Mawsool and Taa’aat).
4. Tanbeehaat and beneficial points (all sections).

Hifth examination (oral):
Memorisation of Surah Al-Israa’ and Surah Al-Kahf.
* Students who are aged over 60 are excused from sitting the Hifth examination.

Tilaawah (practical) examination:
Recitation pages P.1-248 from the Qur’aan (Surah Al-Baqarah to the end of Surah Yusuf).

Jazariyyah poem:
1. Al-Maqtoo’ and Al-Mawsool section of the poem (Al-Muneer Tajweed Syllabus P.297-
299).
2. Taa At-Ta’neeth section of the poem (Al-Muneer Tajweed Syllabus P.312-313).
* Students who are non-Arabs or who are aged over 60, are not required to memorise the
sections of the Jazariyyah poem. However, they are required to understand the meanings.
They will be displayed with some lines of the poems in Arabic during the examination and
will be asked to explain the meaning.

Attendance:
This course is 99 hours long, and students are required to attend at least 85% (84 hours).

Entry Requirements
Applicants are required to :
1- Have completed and passed the previous levels (Preliminary – Tamheediyyah and Intermediate – Mutawassiṭa)
2- Memorisation of Surah Al-Israa’ and Surah Al-Kahf.
* Students who are aged over 60 are excused from sitting the Hifth examination.
