Tajweed A0: Pre-Tamheediyyah (Foundation)

Theory examination (oral):
Fountain Tajweed Foundation Level Book 1 (Makhaarij & Sifaat)

Hifth examination (oral):
Memorisation of the final 25 surahs of the Quran (Surah al-Balad – an-Naas).
* Students who are aged over 60 are excused from sitting the Hifth examination.

Tilaawah (practical) examination:
Recitation pages: P.440-482 of the Quran (Surah Yaa-Seen to the end of Surah Fussilat)

Attendance:
This course is 80 hours long, and students are required to attend at least 85% (68 hours).

Successful completion of the course leads to progression to Tamheediyyah.
